In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals. Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.

Successfully demonstrate all course skill competencies

• Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation
• Attend and participate in 100% of the course

• Glove removal
• Primary Assessment
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Airway Obstruction
• Assisted Ventilation
• Basic Life Support

This course requires the participant to possess a valid EMR Certificate. Participants Must attend all dates. Certification is valid for 3 years. The BLS Certification (included in course) is valid for 1 year.

Includes BLS skills (firefighters, dentist, nurses, athletic therapists, PSW etc.)

Please note: The Standard First Aid is valid for three years. BLS is valid for one year.

This class is WSIB approved and covers all content required for Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Certification. Card is valid for three years

This 2 hour awareness level course is perfect for parents with children of all ages. You will learn how to recognize an emergency and how to treat the issue while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Prevention of illness and injury will be a main focus. You will practice how to perform CPR, what to do for an infant or child choking and many other basic first aid skills.

Cost: $55 PLUS HST per person.
