Prerequisites
Participant must be certified in Standard First Aid with CPR level C.
Completion
- Successfully demonstrate the required skills
- Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation
- Successfully complete two evaluated scenarios (one medical and one trauma)
- Attend and participate in 100% of the course

This course requires successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps and minimum 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation and requires to attend and participate in 100% of the course. Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

This 2 hour awareness level course is perfect for parents with children of all ages. You will learn how to recognize an emergency and how to treat the issue while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Prevention of illness and injury will be a main focus. You will practice how to perform CPR, what to do for an infant or child choking and many other basic first aid skills.
Cost: $55 PLUS HST per person.
